Stained Glass
With Sacha Raps May 19th, 10am-3pm
This beginner to intermediate-level stained glass class will teach you the basics without the required experience. Each student will learn the basics of stained glass design, cutting and grinding glass, applying copper foil, and soldering the "Tiffany" way. Your completed project will fit within an 8x8" square flat panel. The instructor will work with you and your design to create a project achievable in the time provided. All tools and supplies will be available, and you will depart class with a ready-to-hang stained glass panel!
Stained Glass with Fused Elements
With Kelsey McNair July 13 14th, 10am-3pm
Combining the best of both worlds, fused and stained glass, this class will walk participants through the basics of generating elements of fused glass units for incorporation into a stained glass panel. Create impossible details or painterly swipes in your panels. Over the course of two days, you will generate a completed panel and have access to all the supplies required to complete your project.
